Before the sweaters come out and the leaves start to turn, there's still time to squeeze every last drop out of summer with your four-legged best friend. Here are some of our favorite ways to make these final sunny days truly count.

If you've been putting off that beach trip all summer, now is the time. Crowds are thinning, the water is still warm, and your dog will have the time of their life splashing through the waves. Pack a towel, some fresh water, and their favorite toy — and let them run.
Pro tip: Rinse your dog off after a swim to remove salt or algae from their coat and paws.
2. 🌅 Catch a Sunset Together
It sounds simple, but there's something magical about watching the sun go down with your dog by your side. Find a hilltop, a quiet park bench, or even your own backyard. No agenda, no rush — just the two of you soaking in the last golden light of summer.
3. 🍦 Visit a Dog-Friendly Ice Cream Shop
Many local ice cream shops and cafés offer dog-friendly "pup cups" — a little cup of plain soft serve or whipped cream that your dog will absolutely lose their mind over. It's a small thing, but the joy on their face? Priceless.
